When this Victorian mansion was constructed, Cheyenne was the richest city per capita in the world. Erasmus Nagle, a grocer, was the wealthiest person in Wyoming. He built the home to reflect his position. The homes brilliant architecture serves as a reminder of this grand time in the states history. The home boasts of meticulously restored woodwork, including a grand staircase with an ornate gas lamp. The cast brass fireplaces are topped with mirrors that reach to the ceiling. Bronze medallions are set in the front doors and guests find stained glass through out the home. Senator FE Warren lived here from 1908 to 1929 and hosted visitors like Presidents T Roosevelt and Taft.
Today guests enjoy being pampered by the caring staff, and relaxing in or browsing the facilities.
