The elegant alternative for corporate extended stay accommodations.
Aspen Hall Inn offers four extraordinary rooms with private baths and an efficiency apartment.
Each room is tastefully and comfortably appointed with period reproduction furnishings and has cable TV and DSL. This elegant mansion, circa 1750, is one of the most historic homes in our area. Built of native limestone, its architecture is outstanding. Many of the original features of the 20-room house remain. The 13 x 38 foot grand hall still has its original 40-inch board-and-batten doors with their large strap hinges.
The property was known as "Mendenhall's Fort" during the French & Indian War which started 250 years ago. George Washington attended a wedding here in 1761.
At the end of a stressful day, guests can refresh their spirits by strolling Aspen Hall's seven park-like acres while listening to the peaceful babbling of our stocked trout stream. Full body Swedish relaxation massage is available by appointment with the resident licensed massage therapist.
