Circa 1840 Greek Revival Mansion nestled between two mountains located just outside a quintessential village setting which captures the essence of Vermont. The grounds are beautifully manicured and include two small ponds which are fed by a rolling mountain brook behind the Inn. Inside you are greeted by a stenciled halfway, polished dark pine floors and antiques. Retreat to the library or music rooms to relax in front of the fireplace.
The Dorset area offers, biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, tennis, cross country & down hill skiing, and the Dorset Playhouse. Manchester Center, only minutes away, offers designer outlet and specialty stores, as well as many fabulous restaurants. Each of our eight rooms are individually appointed; all have private baths. First floor king / twin option, suite with queen bed, fireplace and sitting area. The second floor offers a king four poster bed, queens with four poster or canopies and fireplaces and king/twin options, with shower / bath and one with claw foot soaking tub and shower.
