Located in the Blue Ridge highlands at the end of a country road, River's Edge bed and breakfast is a beautifully renovated farmhouse with striking views of the Little River from every guest room. The inn offers an oasis of peace and quiet in a noisy and hectic world. Porches with rocking chairs for warm weather, and gas log fires for winter, invite guests to slow down and restore their spirits. Many outdoor activities are available from the grounds and in the surrounding area.
Meals are served in the dining room, the sun room, or on the porch in warm weather. Dinner is available as well, and features some of the innkeeper's favorite recipes. Most of the meats, eggs, fruits, and vegetables are locally raised and organic. Special diets can be accommodated with advance notice.
All four guest rooms have private baths. Rates range from $110 to $125 for double occupancy. Major credit cards are accepted.
