With only 3 guest rooms, we provide you with the personal attention you deserve. Each comfortable room has both an interior door for access to the inn and a private exterior door which opens onto a covered deck overlooking the river. The Trailrider is a spacious room with a queen sleigh featherbed, billowy Hungarian down duvet and matelasse' bedding, a sitting area with and loveseat, adorned with beautiful photographs of Abingdon's Creeper Trail. Rate: $100 per night.

The Barter takes you back in time to the 1920's with an antique bedroom set, including a queen-sized four poster featherbed with a cozy down duvet, matching dresser, and vanity, and classic Barter Theater photographs. Rate: $95 per night.

The Angler speaks to the beauty of fly-fishing with a King-size memory foam mattress, a restful nights sleep is certain. A sitting area and deacon’s bench allow for in-room dining and visiting. Rate: $100.00 per night.

    Barter Theater Tickets, enjoy live professional performances at Barter main stage or newly renovated stage II. With Matinee and evening performances available. Sunday-Thursday $250 Friday-Saturday $265 Have a relaxing 2 night getaway on the River and enjoy an intimate theatrical performance at Abingdon's Barter Theater. Shows scheduled Tuesday - Sunday eves and Saturday and Sunday matinees.
    Creeper Trail Bike Package - One of the most popular cycling destinations in Virginia is the Virginia Creeper Trail. The Virginia Creeper Trail is a 34 mile long former railroad which starts in Abingdon, VA and goes thru Damascus, VA to the NC State line near Whitetop. This trail is great for all levels; including beginners! You and your bike rental will be shuttled to the top of Whitetop Mountain to enjoy the gradual 17 mile descent into the charming town of Damascus, where you can choose to be picked up or continue on the slightly more challenging section into Abingdon. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery, have lunch along the way, or stop in the Abingdon Winery for a quick sample. Stay 2 nights at the River Garden and enjoy the trail with bike rentals and shuttle transportation for two, for just $240.
    The River and Ride Package - Have a lovely two night stay in our beautiful riverside bed and breakfast and enjoy the quiet of the country. Take a guided half-day horseback ride into the scenic mountains of Hidden Valley's Wildlife Management Area. Subject to availability and suitable weather conditions. ($300 for two people, must be 13 years or older)
    The Couples Massage Package - For a truly relaxing experience reserve a two night stay at our quiet riverside inn and include a one hour deep tissue Swedish Massage for each of you on a private part of the deck listening to the river below or in the privacy of your own room. $300 includes 2 nights and 2 one hour massages. Add wine, flowers, chocolate, and/or anniversy/birthday cake for additional charge.
    The Canoeing Package - Combine a restful two night stay with canoeing on the river or the secluded and peaceful Hidden Valley Lake where no motorized watercraft is allowed. We will provide the canoe, transportation and life jackets. Must sign release of liability waiver and have some experience with a canoe. $260
