This European inn of casual elegance has a decor favoring the French Impressionists and an accent on fine service in a romantic, intimate atmosphere. The Yellow House bed and breakfast is located about a mile outside the quaint town of Waynesville N. C. at an elevation of approximately 3,000 ft. The century old house sits on a knoll surrounded by huge pines and 5 acres of lawn and garden. There is a large lily pond on the grounds with a foot bridge and deck. The three rooms, four suites, and one cottage each have private baths, fireplaces, a wet bar or refrigerator, and mountain views. Seperate cottage available with two baths & two bedrooms.
Guests have a choice of a gourmet breakfast served in the dining room, on the front verandah, or bedside. In the evening, all are treated to an hour of wine and hors d'oeuvres.
The Bed & Breakfast boasts a quiet, rural setting that offers guests a relaxing time and an opportunity for renewal.
The Yellow House is located 25 miles west of Asheville where the Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway meet. Take Highway 23/74 to Waynesville and exit at #100, the Hazelwood exit.
