Built in 1891, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Cedar Crest Victorian Inn is one of the largest and most opulent residences to survive Asheville's boom period. Ornate woodwork, said to be that of the same artisans employed by Vanderbilt at his nearby Biltmore Estate, is featured prominently inside. The Parlor's carved oak mantle, the hardwood paneling and the massive oak staircase provide testament to their skills.
Spacious bedrooms are furnished with period antiques, canopies of satin and lace, fireplaces and inviting claw foot tubs. Breakfast is served in the dining room, on the spacious verandah in summer or with personalized service to you bed chamber. The grounds offer a perfect retreat for badminton, croquet or a stroll through the English gardens. This lovely Queen Anne bed and breakfast mansion is located just 3 blocks from the Biltmore Estate and 4 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
