THE BLACK DUCK, located in a tranquil Downeast fishing village, overlooks one of the most picturesque, photographed harbors in Maine. The guest rooms and waterfront cottages, furnished with antiques, consist of one two room suite with private bath; a two bedroom suite with shared bath; a first floor room with private entrance, deck and bath; and two one bedroom harborfront cottages.
The Bed and Breakfast, filled with art and antiques, originally built in the 1880s, has two fireplaces, a wood stove, sitting rooms and a TV area.
We have 12 acres with spectacular rock outcrops, wild blueberries and cranberries, a hidden tidal bay and salt marsh. We're near the Schoodic Section of Acadia National Park, golf courses, sea kayaking, antique shops and restaurants.
