Heaven On High Bed and Breakfast is nestled on a hill in a beautiful and quiet garden setting. The seventy-five foot rear deck, and each bed room have unobstructed panoramic views of the ever changing Great Salt Marsh, the dunes and the Bay at Sandy Neck.
Each mornings specially prepared breakfast is served on a different china place setting and is a gourmet's delight, for your hostess Deanna Katten was a founder of Incredible Edibles, one of the most successful caterers in Southern New England. Fodor's 1998 New England Travel Guide says it's "Just one more reason to try to get to Heaven".
The bedrooms (18' x 23') are centrally air conditioned, with large ceiling fans, king, queen, or twin size beds, and each with a private bath room. The house, including the great room with its fireplace, is newly renovated and redecorated, and is filled with unique antique collections.
Deanna is a horticulturist / gardener. People stop to admire her gardens that flow through the property, and then on up to the rear deck (where humming birds visit). The feeling of continuous flowers follows you as you enter the house through the floral stenciled walls of the front hall way. Just beyond the deck, and bordered by Regosa Roses is a new 30 foot putting green.
Carved out of a wooded acre and a half in the Historic District, and abutting conservation lands, the house is just 45 seconds from Route 6A and 4 minutes to Sandy Neck Beach.
