Built in 1849 for a sea captain's southern bride, Mostly Hall takes its name from the vast central hallways that give the inn an air of spaciousness. It is secluded from the street in a quiet park-like setting, ideally located in the heart of Falmouth's historic district close to restaurants, shops, beaches, tennis, golf, ferries to Martha's Vineyard and the Shining Sea Bikeway to Woods Hole.
Now on the National Register of Historic Places, the inn offers six comfortable corner guestrooms with queen-size canopy beds, reading chairs and private baths. A full breakfast is served in the fireplaced living room or on the wide wraparound veranda in warm weather. A den in the cupola and a romantic garden gazebo offer private retreats. Bicycles are available. The inn is air-conditioned, non-smoking and adult oriented.
