Endaba is a different kind of bed and breakfast. Here things are done mountain style. The rooms are comfortable and attractive, but not "cutesy". The rooms and common areas at the inn are decorated with color photographs of mountain scenes and animals along with regular and topographic maps of the area. There is a kitchen for guest use, a huge living room with a moss rock fireplace and game rooms featuring ping pong, pool, board games and puzzles.
But the real magic of Endaba is that its 120 mountain acres are surrounded by the San Juan National Forest. This is the place to indulge your love of nature and the outdoors. The area abounds with animals and birds, including the lake ducks and flocks of hummingbirds. It is a place to relax, walk, hike, play in the lake, fish, birdwatch, bike and explore, and in the winter, back country ski and snowshoe.
