MEISTER HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST "a bed & breakfast inn out of the old west"
This historic landmark hotel was built over 100 years ago as a small, first-class hotel for the weary mining, railroad and cattle barons travelling between Colorado boom towns. At 8,000 feet above sea level, the small town of Buena Vista, Colorado, is nestled near the headwaters of the world famous whitewater Arkansas River and at the base of the spectacular Collegiate Peaks Mountain Range, which are part of the Rocky Mountains and the largest concentration of 14,000 foot peaks in North America. After your fresh gourmet breakfast, there are many recreational activities available within walking distance of the Meister House.
In December 1993, this two-story structure was renovated to its current state as an intimate seven room bed and breakfast. The high ceilings, pine planking, ornate trim work and original Western Victorian "store front" reminds guests of visiting the late 1880's in colorful Colorado.
