This is the most popular park at Walt Disney World. This is the one the kids
can't miss, and the one you'll probably spend the most time at (waiting in
line). As always, get there early. It will take you a half-hour just to get
to the gate from the parking lot. Hit the most popular rides very early or
late in the day. (See "Tips" for most popular ride listing.)
Designate an area to meet if you split up, and don't make it the most
crowded area like Cinderella's Castle.
Tell children to go to a Disney worker if they are lost, and they will end
up at one of the Baby Services centers.
Walking is the fastest way to get around. Train rides can have a long wait.
Fantasy Land is the most congested of the lands in the Magic Kingdom. The
Dumbo ride wait can be as long as 90 minutes. Visit before 11:00, during the
parade or after 7:00 p.m. Eat and shop in other areas that are less
congested.
Good choices for nighttime rides: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad,
Cinderella's Carrousel, Astro Orbiter, and Dumbo, Splash Mountain (on warm
evenings.)

The Preteen and Teens prefer the popular attractions as well as Alien
Encounter, Haunted Mansion, and the Mad Tea Party.
Alien Encounter is not a good choice for children under 10. The Magic Kingdom's Haunted
Mansion is questionable for those under 7, and Snow White's Adventure can be
scary to pre-schoolers.
